Sharing Hope

Sharing Hope is a weekly meeting that encourages just that…the sharing of things that give us hope.

During these odd and challenging times we are seeking to share inspiration and joy.
Our time together will be spent sharing the things that keep us buoyant and that sustain us; It might be:
Books, videos, recipes, plants, art, craft, collections, beloved objects, Podcasts, YouTube, TED talks, The Drum, poetry-
In fact, anything; whatever it is that speaks life to you.
We meet on Fridays at 1030am. Please email and we will send you the link

This week we talked about the importance of keeping and breaking rules and how hard it can be to understand some of the strictures we are living with and under at present.

There were recommendations-

  • Theeb on SBS
  • Jim Crace’s Quarantine (which still comes with a ‘book-club discussion’ and a free coffee with Jeanette. Jan is the first to claim her ‘winnings’.

We lamented scams perpetrated by those whose humanity is so wanting that they prey on the vulnerable, magnifying fear and eroding the basic trust we need for our society to function.

Some time back Jan G shared the image of Mary- Untier of Knots – here’s the story and imagehttps://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mary,_Untier_of_Knots

Stay hopeful, Jeanette
