We moved inside to the rhythm of the beating drum, singing,
“Mother, I feel you under my feet”

Jan morgan and Di

Di introduced us to Jan Morgan who shared her insight into the prophetic
tradition.  During the afternoon, with the help of actors, Jan led us through
a very powerful and moving ritual process that offered us a way to attend to
the cry of the Earth.

Janet and Alex helped us to get out of our heads and into our bodies,
as they acted out our cries, and later our radical signs of hope.

Blankets were put over the drum as Jan named the forces that silence
our responses to the ecological crisis and leave us numb, disconnected
and passive
